Project coordination

The primary task of WP1 is to coordinate the BONUS OPTIMUS project and ensure progress in the WPs and coordination of activities.

Provide policy guidelines on future sustainable use of mussel mitigation cultures for fish feed

BONUS OPTIMUS will result in a set of recommendations for management of mussel farming in the coastal zone of the Baltic including a multi-criteria planning tool and test of mussel meal as an ingredient in fish feed. Witin WP1 the results of BONUS OPTIMUS will be collated into a common set of recommendations in order to ensure coherence in the approach between countries.

Dissemination and project synthesis

The BONUS OPTIMUS results will be disseminated in various ways, e.g. peer-reviewed journals, conference presentations, training courses for students, stakeholders and partners, and outreach activities to local stakeholders.
