About
Institute of Oceanology (IOPAN), Poland has an international recognition in earth science as one of the leaders within ocean optics and ocean color remote sensing, being active since the origins of the discipline in 1960’. The topics such as radiative transfer, biooptics, primary production and energy absorption budgets have been central and resulted in numerous publications and international projects with European and USA partners.
